Applications
Available as either VISCONN® or VISCONN FIBRE®, these 20 oz (600 ml) sausage cartridges contain liquid-applied air barrier used for robust connections and details. For use with AEROFIXX spray/seal application tool.

Per sausage (20oz / 600 ml): 8.5 ft2 / 0.8 m2 per sausage depending on applied thickness Per box (contains 12 sausages): 100 ft2 / 9.5 m2
Advantages
- Time-saving: liquid ready-to-use with AEROFIXX
- For robust airsealing: permanent elasticity and high durability once it has dried
- Improves surfaces: bonding between subsurfaces and subsequent coatings
- Use for interior and exterior areas shielded from UV/direct weather exposure
- Can be used for creating pitched windows sills with appropriate coverage and detailing
- Product available as either VISCONN or VISCONN FIBRE, in colors blue/black or white
Substrates
- Reliable bonding thanks to excellent adhesive properties on all standard construction surfaces
- Apply to walls, ceilings and floor surfaces, such as masonry, CMU, wood sheathing, fiberboard, joists or joist bays
- Reliably fills gaps up to 3/4" (20 mm) using VISCONN FIBRE
- Highly porous/uneven materials require 2 or more coats for reliable coverage/airsealing
- It may be necessary to apply more than one coat in the case of uneven or rough subsurfaces
- Can be plastered/painted over, Pro Clima adhesive tapes can be bonded onto it (and can be sprayed over all TESCON/CONTEGA Pro Clima tapes)

- Material: Aqueous acrylic dispersion (FIBRE is fiber-reinforced)
- Passed ASTM E331/ IBC - 1403.2 (300PA for 2 hours) for WRB code compliance
- Temperature Resistance: -40°F to 176°F
- Perm Rating: 0.5 perms (6.11m ±0.6 m) at 11 mils (0.3 mm) thickness EN 1931
- Vapor Variability ISO 12572: 0.33 to 25 perms (Sd: 0.13 – 10.00 m)
- UV/weather Resistance: 3 months of exposure
- NBC 2020- 9.36.2.9 Air Barrier Systems Passed air leakage <0.02 L/(s·m²) @75 Pa (ASTM E2357)
- Low VOC per SCAQMD limits
- LEEDV4 passed CDPH v1.2 for Private Office and School Classroom (PO and SC)
