TESCON PROFIL® is an all-around airtight, vapor-open, solid acrylic adhesive tape ideal for waterproofing and airsealing windows, doors and corner connections.

Advantages

- Pressure activated adhesive bonding. Can be blower door tested and is waterproof after pressurization with PRESSFIX
- Solid acrylic adhesive is applied across the entire surface of the tape, with no adhesive-less patches where the connection could be compromised
- Fleece backing forms itself to slightly uneven substrates
- Excellent IAQ values, no VOC off gassing per AgBB/ISO 16000
- 10-year comprehensive
Substrates
- Bonds to Pro Clima materials, solid wood surfaces, polyethylene, metal, foil, housewraps and sheathing
- Adhesion test recommended on PVC/fiberglass/alum. window frames – production oils/silicone residues might need to be cleaned off for proper long term adhesion
- Use TESCON Primer RP when adhering to soft/porous wood insulation panels, concrete, sheetrock, rough/oily OSB and brick

- Adhesive: durable waterproof tape adhesion (solid acrylic adhesive)
- Perm Rating: Perm 8 (Sd value: 0.4m)
- Release paper: split release paper, for easy application on two side of seams, inside corners, etc.
- Release strip widths: 1/2" (12 mm), 7/8" (23 mm), 1" (25 mm)
- UV/weather Resistance: 6 months of exposure
- Polypropylene backing forms itself to slightly uneven substrates
