Passive House Tradesman Certfication

Passive House Tradesman Training and Certification in Dublin:
It started off as a small request, “find out when the next tradesman course is happening in Ireland”. And it turned into a trip with 15 people from around the country converging in Dublin at the end of January to be trained and certify to be the first certified Passive House Tradesman in North America. Exciting.

The Passive House Academy in Dublin is going to run us through a week long training course consisting of theory, hands on air sealing, technology installs, tours of past & current PH projects and a window manufacturing plant. And for those in the group who feel up to it, PHI will be holding its inaugural tradesman certification test on 1/28. Is there a better way to start the new year!

It was too bad I couldn’t make it to this. When do you plan to do another one?

Demand was very high even with the soft sell approach. It’s clear that many people are interested in getting this info and training. PHA may host a few more groups to Dublin this spring ahead of their launch of the training in NYC in the next few months. I will post updates and blog about the Dublin class here as well keep you posted on all the developments for PH training here.
