As Passive House grows in New York City, so do the scale of the projects. The introduction of designPH software has combined the power of the Passive House Planning Package (PHPP) and the design ease of SketchUp to allow designers new abilities in the development of Passive House projects. The Passive House movement is built on a scientific method of testing, discovery, and information-sharing that enriches the architectural body of knowledge for low-energy building. On August 2nd, 475 is hosting an event in that spirit, to share, identify, and clarify challenges with the use of designPH on large buildings.
The course will be a 3 hour, interactive event, which will include:
Preparing for the day:
Before the event, attendees should submit files demonstrating problems / issues with existing projects no later than 7/29. Send files to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
